Curriculum
What are Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are a novel type of injectable skin booster derived from fish. They can trigger skin repair through collagen induction and encouraging fibroblast production, for longer-term results
Each treatment requires up to three sessions, meaning you see your patients more regularly, and their results last longer - usually up to a year
Perhaps best known for their efficacy when treating the tear trough area - including brightening dark circles under the eyes - they also have a number of other uses. As a result, these cosmetic injectables are proving incredibly popular with patients
Polynucleotides offer a wealth of uses, including:
Full face rejuvenation
Skin laxity
Skin healing and strengthening
Improving skin texture and quality
Promoting a more even skin tone
Brightening dark circles under the eyes
Specific skin concerns such as acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, rosacea and melasma
Why You Need to Take our Polynucleotides Training Course
If you're interested in expanding your aesthetics practice with evidence-based treatments that patients love, polynucleotides should be on your radar!
By stimulating the body's own collagen and fibroblast production, polynucleotides can produce effective longer-term results in a number of facial regions. These include high-demand areas such as:
Tear troughs / under eyes
Neck
Jawline
Full face rejuvenation
This an effective, sought-after treatment that can rejuvenate and revitalise - making it a great commercial addition to your services
Polynucleotides fit perfectly with injectables such as botox and filler if you're looking to expand into skin treatments. They're also a fantastic complementary service to sit alongside other cosmetic dermatology treatments such as Profhilo, Structura and microneedling
The patient selection, assessments and administration techniques for polynucleotide injections are also straightforward to learn
You'll maximise your study whilst minimising your time away from your business with a blended online and in-person educational approach. This includes two hours of dedicated eLearning and 4 hours of hands-on clinical learning including hands-on, one-to-one supervised injecting. We even provide the patients!
Our CPD-accredited Polynucleotides Training Course is designed to help you learn everything you need, in a way that's most conducive to your comprehension. It's all killer, no filler - pun intended!
What Brand Will I Use During This Polynucletides Course?
You'll learn using Croma’s polynucleotides product range, PhilArt. These products feature an injectable gel consisting of long-chain polynucleotides which build an optimal environment for the growth of fibroblasts
They do this by promoting skin hydration and scavenging free radicals. This increases the production of new collagen and elastic fibres, improving skin quality
The polynucleotide products you'll be using to treat patients periorbital regions and full faces are:
Croma - PhilArt (high concentration polynucleotide gel)
Croma - PhilArt Eye (low concentration gel for the eye area only)
Croma - PhilArt Next (includes hyaluronic acid, suitable for facial use only)
These products can also be used in the décolleté area, neck, hands and scalp. Whilst we discuss this during your eLearning, these aspects are not part of your practical training.
What Will I Learn?
Our Polynucleotides Training Course will teach you the theory and practical application of polynucleotides for the face and periorbital region
You'll learn how they work, how to determine suitable candidates, treatment planning and the techniques that will help you to administer them safely using a needle and a cannula
Additionally, you'll be taught how to deliver aftercare advice and put all your new skills into practice as you treat two patients under supervision
